1. Treasurer’s Report

Move to accept the treasurer’s report (Ann Marie/Bryonie)

Motion to move the money from the funfair account to general account (Kate/Tanya)

1. Hot Lunch program (Annette)

Pizza delivered every Wednesday and Annette has agreed to take on this again this year

Need to figure out how to get pizza delivered efficiently (i.e. getting pizza to the room)

Can grade 5/6 also be helpers than just the intermediates

Parent volunteers need to make sure they are committing to volunteering (Rebekah George said she could help all year, Jenn Al-Sarraj can help beginning in January)

Good Start up

Enrollment 546 - The Board is investigating all options to deal with increased enrollment

New bus added (11 in total until the sidewalk is completed from the new subdivision)

Regional Parent conference coming up on October 19th at Port Hope High School

Speaker only this year (no break out sessions)

Regional Council Meetings held at Kenner

QSP is no longer in business

Will look at other options (e.g. World’s Finest, Mom’s Pantry, Recipe In a Jar, Epicure, donation only)

Parking and Kiss and Ride

• Need to keep parking lane clear
• Need for transportation education (walking, dropping off, taking the bus when you actually take the bus)
• Ensuring that students arrive at school safely
• Marie to explore with township and board other options
